This ring screws onto the lens thread and slips into the filter holder and the engraving is not noticeable except for when you are assembling the set.

PLEASE NOTE : the previous owner was far sighted and engraved the number of each ring onto each ring as shown so that it would be easier to see. The picture bottom right also gives you an idea of the Cokin filter system which allows you to use a professional filter system across a variety of lens.

Cokin Filter system P Series designed for larger format and professional cameras, for larger diameter lenses (wide-angle zoom) and for movie and video cameras, etc.

The P series fits lenses with 48, 49, 52, 55,58, 62, 72, and 82mm filter threads and Hasselblad R mount. These filters measure approximately 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches square.
