Powerful shell HEISHI necklace featuring ABALONE shell accented by a HAND-MADE pendant, spiral shell with STERLING SILVER.

The mounted shell was specially made to order in Nepal by a family of artisans.

The clasp is hand-made sterling silver from a local Navajo silversmith. All other silver beads are sterling.

Length approximately 26 inches. Strung on flexwire for lasting beauty.

This necklace of sacred shells has some weight to it and as such would not be recommend for feminine wear.

Ted Rice is a local Santa Fe artist. He handcrafts each piece one by one, drawing from classic patterns and materials new and old for a unique and timeless design.
