Sterling Silver OM Gau with Melon Shell Heishi and Turquoise Necklace

Newly available Ted Rice Design, Buddhist inspired Necklace with sterling silver Gau, and Om syllable in Sanskrit. Available only through Songofsnow Books of Santa Fe!

The Gau opens for filling with sacred substances, mantras or mandala drawing. The silver beads on each side of the Gau are vintage Navajo, handmade. The necklace consists of melon shell with turquoise spacers. The melon and round beads at the ends, and hook clasp are sterling silver. Measures approximately 21 inches. Strung on multi-strand wire for durable wear.

Ted Rice is a local Santa Fe artist. He handcrafts each piece one by one, drawing from classic patterns and materials new and old for a unique and timeless design.
