Booklet produced for the dedication of the Battalla de la Mesa monument at the Los Angeles Union Stock Yards Company.

The battle was fought on the site on January 9, 1847.

The battle proved to be the last stand of the California revolutionary forces under the command of General Jose Maria Flores.

The dedication, which was held on September 9, 1926, and featured four massive granite boulders to mark the site of the battle.

The booklet was printed by East Side Printing & Publishing Co., Los Angeles.
