Retrospective exhibition of the influential late Sculptor famous for his intricate and large environments and tableaux most of which are rather grim and horrific in nature.
Each work is illustrated with a large full color fold-out along with many b&w photos of details, candids and notes.
12 folding ""tableaus"" (for each of them comes an explaining text on a separate sheet, based on an interview with Kienholz made in 1969) + 54 leaves with photographies, printed on both sides & 10 pages of text (introduction, biography, bibliography etc.).
