From reverse side of card: ...is the symmetrical Founders Tree in the Redwood Empire of California -- preserved for posterity as a part of the California State Park System, this giant redwood is estimated to be more than 2000 years old and reaches a height of 364 feet, is 47 feet in circumfrence at the base and contains an estimated 125,000 board feet of milled limber. Illuminated each Christmas time with 35,000 candlepower, it is famous as the world's tallest Christmas tree. In 1945 the lighting ceremony will be broadcast over the Associated Broadcasters network to 57 American cities and over the armed forces radio
