Our latest Ted Rice Jewelry Design creation, a stunning necklace of melon shell heishi with
turquoise nugget accents. The center piece is a cowrie shell in a solid
sterling silver mount, made in Nepal.
On either side of the pendant,
handmade Navajo silver fluted beads 50- 75 years in age. The necklace
is strung on multi-strand flex wire for durable wearing.

The ends are
finished with vintage sliver beads, and a hand made sterling silver
clasp. Total length 18 inches.
The cowrie shell symbolizes wealth and abundance as this shell was once considered a form of currency in the ancient world.
Ted Rice Designs are hand crafted by the artist, materials blend vintage and new, with preference for Native American and Buddhist pieces integrated into the overall design. |
