Everyone loves a stuffed bear. Bears are warm friends that will become heirlooms, passed down from generation to generation.
With this book, you'll learn how to make a variety of Bears. First, the bear essentials, how to choose the fabric, lay out, cut, stuff, sew, embellish, make movable arms and legs, as eyes and paws, even change expressions, from shy to adventurous.
Then the hard part, deciding which bear to make first. There are 10 bears in all, including three white polar bears and a snuggly panda. They come in all sizes, from small friends that can be tucked into a jacket pocket, two large bears that will wait patiently to be loved each night.
You can use a variety of fabrics to make the bears, from terrycloth to fake for two flannel, and the Bears can be made in any color, Brown, yellow, white, black, or gray.
This book includes all the necessary pattern pieces for each bear, each with seam allowances shown. Nine of the patterns are full sized, so there's no need to enlarge each pattern piece. In addition, there are fabric layouts and, of course, step-by-step instructions for each and every bear.
