Miniature pot by Josephine Cheykaychi of Santo Domingo Pueblo

Approximately 1 1/2 inches height by 2 3/4's inches at widest point

A variation of a stylized bird design, cream on black, black on cream. As traditional in Santo Domingo designs, if you look hard at the black part of the design, you find yourself shifting from bird to fish, to bird.

Please note salt flaw in ceramic.



Miniatures are a very hot collectible allowing a wide variety of design and origins to be displayed in limited space.
