Dhan Gopal Mukerji July 6, 1890 –July 14, 1936, born in Calcutta, sent to Japan as a teenager by his family, and enrolled in Stanford to pursue a degree in Metaphysics. Forbidden the more satisfying outlet of activism, he poured his feelings into his writing. Consequently, his language is magical and persuasive, and his observation of animals and their ways is accurate and unsentimental.

CONDITION: Hard Cover, 78 pages, publication date 1916, Paul Elder Press, San Francisco. Printed at the Tomoye Press, under the direction of Herman A. Funke. Volume clean, minor wear to bottom edge of spine.
