Stunning power necklace featuring sterling silver 5 prong Vajra, made in Nepal.
Vajra (Devanagari: वज्र) is a Sanskrit word meaning both thunderbolt and diamond. The equivalent word in Tibetan is dorje. The vajra destroys all kinds of ignorance, and itself is indestructible.
In Buddhism the vajra is the symbol of Vajrayana, one of the three major branches of Buddhism. Vajrayana is translated as "Thunderbolt Way" or "Diamond Way" and can imply the thunderbolt experience of Buddhist enlightenment or bodhi.
The beads are rock crystal chips, and fluorite crystal round beads. (the photo does not do justice to the beauty of this crystal)
The clasp is sterling silver, and hand made by a Navajo silversmith. The beads at the ends and center are sterling silver as well.
Measures 24 inches in length.
Suitable for wear by both yogis and yoginis!
